Formerly two apartments from the 1960s that had been frozen in time, this gut renovation combined two apartments into one new home, prioritizing a floor plan that would create a seamless flow, a sense of openness and maximize light. Lara Apelian Studio created an open and friendly material palette, which perfectly suited this growing family as we embraced color and pattern to include bold, playful elements throughout the home.

This reimagined floor plan features a fully functional open kitchen, two bathrooms, three bedrooms including a main bedroom suite, and an abundance of concealed storage. We prioritized a timeless, colorful design exuding joy at every turn.
